Additional information

The use of custom printed circuit boards is ubiquitous in the electronics industry. They form the basis for most electronic devices, from smartphones and computers to household appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines, and refrigerators. Conductive tracks applied to the board allow electrical components that are soldered or otherwise connected to the board to communicate directly. The manual soldering process, in particular, plays a key role in PCB assembly. For very small components, this is a task that can only be accomplished with a microscope. This is easier on the eyes and prevents incorrect assembly of the board.
