Veterinary medical laboratories

Veterinary laboratories provide diagnostic, analytical, and quality assurance services for animal health, herd management, disease surveillance, and research. This segment includes clinical diagnostics, pathogen detection, molecular analysis, and specialized tests for companion, farm, and laboratory animals. Currently, the landscape is characterized by the need for rapid and reliable results, the expansion of data-driven and partially automated diagnostics, and stringent requirements for quality assurance, validation, and biosafety. Simultaneously, integration into surveillance and One Health structures continues to grow in importance. This ensures that the segment remains central to informed treatment decisions, robust animal health programs, and safe veterinary care.
