Stage theaters

This segment encompasses theaters and performance venues that develop and present plays, musicals, dance, or interdisciplinary productions for a public audience. Currently, the sector represents both cultural diversity and significant pressure to change: Attendance figures continue to recover, while rising personnel and operating costs, strained public budgets, and the demand for more predictable working conditions place considerable demands on these venues. At the same time, transformation, new approaches to audience engagement, and attractive work structures are gaining in importance.
