Additional information

Hearing aids are made up of many small parts that help ensure an optimal hearing experience. Individual components such as umbrellas, sound tubes or filters are made of polymers or plastics such as acrylic or silicone. They are tiny and often weigh less than a tenth of a gram. In order to count the individual parts produced for the customer, a single particle is weighed. You can then determine a large quantity (10,000-100,000 pieces) based on the weight. A precision balance is used to determine the weight of the individual particle. Weight-based counting is an accurate and proven method for determining the quantity of individual parts.
