Ready-mixed concrete factories
Bench scales
Application number: EN - 2151
To develop ready-mixed concrete, a small amount is mixed in the laboratory. The individual components are weighed precisely using a bench scale. Precise weighing is important because the quantity increases when the concrete is produced. Inaccurate handling when developing the concrete in the laboratory would mean that the specified compressive strength is no longer present. This could lead to complaints.

Additional information
Ready-mixed concrete is a mixture of cement, gravel and water that is mixed and transported to the site in a concrete mixer truck. Concrete is used to pour foundations, walls, floors or ceilings into a previously prepared formwork. C25/30 concrete is the name for normal concrete with a certain compressive strength. In this case, the characteristic cylinder compressive strength of the concrete is 25 N/mm. However, for special objects, concrete is needed that must have a higher compressive strength. To develop this concrete, a small amount is mixed in the laboratory. The individual components are weighed precisely using a table scale. Precise weighing is important because the amount increases when the concrete is produced. Inaccurate handling during the development of the concrete in the laboratory would mean that the specified compressive strength is no longer given. This could lead to complaints.
