To check a certain greasiness of a stainless steel surface, a 30x30 cm sample is cut out. Tiny glass beads are then placed on the stainless steel plate and it is checked how many gas beads have remained on the surface. To do this, the beads that remain stuck are removed from the surface and weighed.
