Additional information
Industrial chimneys must be checked at regular intervals of 2 years by condition monitoring. The expert climbs the chimney using the existing climbing equipment and of course also checks it. During a condition check, in addition to the visual inspection, both destructive (chisel tests, chipping tests and scratch tests using a pick hammer or knife) and non-destructive test methods (ultrasonic measurements of the material thickness and the coating thickness of steel chimneys) are used. In the case of the non-invasive test method, an ultrasonic material thickness measuring device is appropriately used, which carries out this check quickly and precisely and ensures further safety. Invalid search result.
