Additional information

When a dog's intestinal microbiome is examined using a fecal sample, the microorganisms that colonize the intestine are recorded. If this microflora becomes unbalanced, it is no longer able to nourish and protect the intestinal mucosa. The occurrence of clinical pictures that are related to an immune deficiency is also promoted. After special preparation, the dog feces are examined under the microscope and key germs in the intestinal microbiome can be detected in order to quickly and easily detect a possible imbalance. Analyzing the feces can also diagnose parasite infestations or other diseases that could affect the microbiome. This makes fecal examination an important tool in preventive healthcare for dogs. Regular fecal examination is essential to assess dog health.
