Additional information

The bacteriological nature of the milk is determined by determining the number of bacteria. An increased number of bacteria in the delivered milk shows weak points in hygiene during milk production and milk storage. According to the Milk Quality Ordinance, the germ content of the milk delivered must be checked at least twice a month. The number of microorganisms is recorded using a fluorescence microscope and stated in colony forming units (CFU).
