Application Description

According to the Milk Quality Ordinance, for the production of milk powder, the germ content of the delivered milk must be checked at least twice a month. The number of microorganisms is recorded using a fluorescence microscope and stated in colony forming units (CFU).

Additional information

Milk powder is made from whole milk by drying it. The bacteriological quality of the milk delivered is determined by determining the number of germs. An increased number of bacteria in the delivered milk shows weak points in hygiene during milk production and milk storage. According to the Milk Quality Ordinance, the germ content of the milk delivered must be checked at least twice a month.
