Sand-lime bricks are artificial bricks made from burnt lime (calcium oxide), quartz sand and water. Lime and sand are mixed in a ratio of 1:12 with the addition of water and fed into the reaction tank. The burnt lime is converted to hydrated lime and the mixture is brought to press moisture.
