Additional information

Sand-lime bricks are artificial bricks made from burnt lime (calcium oxide), quartz sand and water. Lime and sand are mixed in a ratio of 1:12 with the addition of water and fed into the reaction tank. The burnt lime is converted to hydrated lime and the mixture is brought to press moisture. This press moisture should be 6%-8% so that the firing process can proceed continuously. Checking with a moisture analyzer is essential to avoid rejects
