Water absorption (conditioning) is what gives dry and brittle material, such as a polyamide workpiece, its desired positive properties. The workpiece is weighed in the dry state and then again after it has been moistened in the system. The weight difference can be determined with a precision scale and thus shows the exact amount of water absorption
