Industrial alcohol is produced in large batches (approx. 300-500 tons / day). The carbohydrates in starchy plants must first be enzymatically broken down for the production process. To do this, the plants are chopped up and the carbohydrates they contain are separated off with saccharification enzymes. Monitoring this process is important for the correct enzymatic process. That is why the enzymes that are added have to be continuously weighed in a controlled manner during the production process
