Materials such as leather, fabric or carpeting according to aircraft standard FAR 25. 853 for the interior fittings of aircraft are mostly delivered as rolled goods. In the incoming goods department, these rolls are weighed and compared with the delivery note. The comparison is important as a guarantee for a correct delivery.
