Since mushrooms are very sensitive, they are only picked once during harvesting and immediately placed in the sales bowl for a so-called pre-test of the weight. Packages of 250g to 3kg are weighed. Careful handling during harvesting protects the mushroom body, avoids bruising and possible rotting during transport.
